Peachy Chicken Casserole

A sweet-savoury speciality from the Royco® kitchen. This delicious peach and chicken casserole will be a hit around the dinner table.


Replace the chicken in this recipe with a quartered head of cauliflower. Reduce the cooking time until the cauliflower is just cooked through.

  • 8 chicken portions
  • paprika
  • 15 ml sunflower oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 packet Royco® Creamy Mushroom Packet Soup
  • 250 ml peach juice
  • 50 ml water


  • Dust chicken pieces lightly with paprika and brown in heated oil in a frying pan. Remove to a casserole dish and season to taste.
  • Sauté onion and mushrooms in the pan. Place on top of chicken.
  • Mix the Royco® Creamy Mushroom Packet Soup, peach juice and water together and pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 180˚C for 1 1/2 hours.
